Background:
My name is Adamu Ashifa, I was born 28th February 1989. (5th born child) In the family of ten (10) and raised by Christian family from Gwoza local government, Borno State Nigeria. I Finished my Secondary School 2008, graduated from Polytechnic 2014.
GLP Care helped me to pursue the career of my dreams to achieve my goal by providing me with the resources to Further my Education by alleviating my financial concerns. GLP CARE made a significant contribution to my future career.
I have the desire and the determination, but lack of financial backing. I have almost given up on furthering my education. When GLP scholarship care came my way, I have started sensing almost all my goals and dreams coming through. I am the first person in my family to attend University up to date. I am running my programme as undergraduate at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU). Course of study, Computer and Communication Engineering.
I want to deeply express my gratitude to GLP care for the generous support and positive impact and I am willing to be part of it. My goal is to have a positive impact, not only on my own life, but on the lives of others as well. This scholarship can help me achieve that goal.
